Senators Hand Control of Your Data to ISPs March 25th 2017
According to the rules approved by the Federal Communications Commission in October under then-President Barack Obama, internet providers would need to obtain consumer consent before using precise geolocation, financial information, health information, children's information and web browsing history for advertising and internal marketing.
I personally find it reprehensible that an Internet Service Providers would stoop sow low as the gather and sell your personal information which may even include your Social Security Number. Not to mention putting your children at risk for who knows what.
What even makes is worse is that information I search on may not be for me but for a friend, one of which has hepatitis c. Does this mean that my ISP now thinks I have hep c?
