6) Remove the Windows installation DVD and Improve the Screen resolution.
That’s it; you have completed the Windows 10 Technical Preview installation, now you can decide if Windows 10 which Microsoft worked so hard on is better or worse than Windows XP.
7) Improve your graphics resolution:
The default desktop resolution when you have completed the installation uses a built-in graphics driver and the screen resolution may be too low for your monitor. Take note that during the installation other device drivers specific to your computer’s hardware including the driver for your graphics card, an NVIDIA 8600 in my Windows XP computer.
You should restart the computer and load Windows 10 again, you should now see a much higher display resolution. You can access the “NVIDIA Control Panel” which can be found in the Windows 10 ‘Control Panel / Appearance and Personalization’ section to change the resolution to what best meets your needs.
Note: If there is no change in resolution then run Windows Update and see if a graphics driver is listed for your card. If there is, install it along with a possible “Optional” update for your monitor.
